About Me
Growing Up
I was born in Des Moines, Iowa on March 17, 1982. I have 3 siblings, Brent, Valerie and Mark, all older than me. After year later, my family moved to San Antonio, Texas and I grew up there. During my sophomore year of High School I needed another class to fill my schedule, and randomly was put into an accounting class and really enjoyed it. Since then, I've studied accounting and worked towards an accounting degree. We have always had a computer in our home, whether it was a Commodore 64, or IBM, and because of this I've become computer savvy and enjoyed working on computers.
Schooling
After graduating from Judson Senior High School in 2000, I started attending college at the University of Texas San Antonio. I worked full time for Aqua Chlor, Inc. in San Antonio and attended school off and on until 2007. In the summer of 2008 I transferred to Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho.
The Future
I'm not sure what the future holds for me. At this point, I expect to graduate in the summer of 2011 with more than 150 credits, enough to sit for the CPA in most states. Right now, I intend to sit for the CPA exam and work for an Accounting Firm. I'd like to work for a Big 4, but we'll see. Ultimately, I'd like to return to China and work in China on a permanent basis.
