Websites can be pretty frustrating to build. It's the last week of the semester and I'm trying to make this site more presentable for when I have to ...present it on Monday. Right now, at 6 PM, the main navigation bar looks right, but depending on the page, the tab doesn't change correctly, except the "blog" and "about" tabs.

So, I went with on an "Internship Expedition" to Washington, D.C. this week. It was a really good experience, but I sure wish I hadn't missed classes, cause I am swamped now. I was swamped before, but now I have 4 days of work to also catch up on.
We met with 4 Accounting Firms (Grant Thornton, BDO Seidman, McGladrey and Deloitte) and the FBI. Apparently, in DC offices none of these have internships during the winter, because the local schools don't have a schedule similar to BYU-Idaho. BYU-I's schedule is pretty weird though, with the 3 full semesters during the year. We only placed resumes with the FBI, because the other companies don't begin their recruitment process until August/September. We'll see what happens. We, we being the 6 of us from the accounting department that went on the expedition, can give them a ring-a-ding, tell them we were interested, and have them refer us to other offices that do have winter internships. It's yet to be determined if the trip was worth it.
If there is one personal thing I gained from the trip, it's that if I'm passionate about anything, it's China. I'm not one to talk, and have a hard time elaborating on anything. Except China. Much to the pain of others on the airplane ride back from DC, I spent the entire Dallas to Salt Lake leg answering questions about China. So, if you were on that plane, and had a hard time going to sleep because of me, *cough* Josh *cough*, I apologize.

This is my first entry for the blog. It's not much, and really doesn't much different than other parts of the website. Right now, I'm needing to add some pages to my site, and this is one of them. Looking for code to make this work more like a real blog, but in the mean time, I'll hard code this.
