Site Plan
Purpose
My site is going to be an informational website about me, and a platform for me to share thoughts and photos, and experiences of my travel to China. Also, this site will be my first site, so I can learn the basics of developing a website.
Audience
My main audience will be my family and friends. Secondary audience will be potential employers.
Why my site is unique
I’m the only Michael Strawn I know, and assumingly the only one my friends know either. So, if they want information on Michael Strawn, this is where they’ll go.
Site Basics
My website will have a brief about me section, way to contact me, a photo gallery of pictures. Also, may contain a blog of current thoughts. Maybe include a list and links to many of the different computer tools/utilities.
Domain Name
MichaelStrawn.com, it’s my name with .com on the end. Not hard to remember. Also, makes for a good email address.

IMDB.com - cause it’s a great database site of movie information.
Youtube.com - great site for videos, but am getting very frustrated with the changes to site design.
news.google.com - love the double layout of columns and linking to various news articles.
